Looking for a tech job with a mission? Find ’em here next week

Whether you're actively looking for employment or looking to get plugged in to local organizations, Generocity's jobs fair will give you the opportunity to see what's out there.

Much like our tech jobs fair NET/WORK this isn’t a stiff, suit-filled job fair of old.
Our sister brand Generocity is hosting INTER/VIEW next Tuesday, April 19. It will feature 20 mission-driven organizations — some of which are hiring for technologists specifically.

There will be light food and beer to loosen everyone up and provide the opportunity for you to get to know employers a little more informally. You’re going to have to work with each other every day, after all, so we think both sides should get to know the real deal.
A little different from the NET/WORK you know and love, there will be employers as well as volunteer-seekers at this event. We’re interested in citizens getting involved inside and outside the office — whether you’re actively looking for a job or looking to get plugged in to local organizations, INTER/VIEW will give you the opportunity to see what’s out there.
Attend if you are:

  • Looking for full-time work with company that fits your skills and personality
  • A recent graduate looking for an apprenticeship
  • Interested in freelance gigs
  • Currently employed, but want to feel out future opportunities
  • Looking to network
  • Interested in working at an impact organization

In addition to a broader offering of jobs in the impact sector, companies that will be represented include:

  • Azavea is looking for software engineers, operations engineers, UI/UX designers and a community ambassador.
  • Solutions for Progress is hiring programmer analysts, business analysts, software engineers and UX designers.
  • Think Brownstone is hiring web developers (full-time and contract), a content analyst, UX & visual design contractors and UX designers.
  • Technically Media (That’s us!) is hiring an operations manager and opportunities to volunteer for Generocity or Technical.ly.

So yeah, come through. INTER/VIEW is Tuesday, April 19, at the Christ Church Neighborhood House’s Great Hall (20 N. American St.) from 5-8 p.m.
Are you a student? We have a limited number of free tickets just for students. Just enter “YAAAAS” into the discount code field when you check out.
