Safeguard Scientifics leads $17M Series A for Minneapolis-based health IT firm

Hmm, when will Philly's health IT scene be mature enough for Safeguard to invest in it?

Minneapolis, Minn., where Zipnosis is based.

Safeguard Scientifics led a $17 million Series A for Zipnosis, a Minneapolis-based telemedicine firm.

Participating investors include Ascension Ventures, Fairview Health Services, Hyde Park Venture Partners, Arthur Ventures, Waterline Ventures and Omphalos Ventures.

Makes us wonder: When will Philly’s health IT scene be mature enough for Safeguard to invest in it?
