How will automation change city living? Penn event Dec. 2

How robots and automation could shape the future of cities is the subject of a Dec. 2 symposium at the University of Pennsylvania.
The event is hosted by the Penn Institute for Urban Research and the Consortium for Technologies for Safe and Efficient Transportation.
Speakers include Vinn White, senior policy advisor for the U.S. Secretary of Transportation; Daniel Lee, a Penn professor and the director of the General Robotics, Automation, Sensing & Perception Lab (GRASP); Megan Ryerson, a Penn assistant professor of city and regional planning and electrical and systems engineering; and Erick Guerra, a Penn assistant professor of city and regional planning.
The free event starts at 3:30 p.m. in the lower gallery of Meyerson Hall.
