Student hackers from across the globe will take to the Wells Fargo Center this fall.
PennApps, the student-run hackathon that has exploded in popularity since its founding in 2009, rented out the South Philly stadium for the weekend. There will be bus service and everything.

We love the idea of Philly hosting a hackathon in a major sporting arena. The geek takeover is real.
In the past, the event was held on Penn’s campus, with the final demo session at the school’s Houston Hall, which would consistently be packed.
