It’s the second big jump for Lyon in as many years. He spent a year at LeadiD, the Ambler-based startup that closed a $7 million Series A last May. Lyon joined LeadiD after a three-year stint as Monetate’s VP of marketing. He did not respond to a request for comment.
The startup will not hire another chief marketing officer, said Adam Figueira. Figueira, LeadiD’s senior director of marketing, will now lead the company’s marketing efforts.
In other LeadiD hiring news:

  • The company is also losing its director of content marketing, former local tech journalist and public radio producer Sue Spolan. Spolan is leaving to start her own communications agency called Cohegent. LeadiD will be Cohegent’s first customer, Figueira said.
  • VP of Engineering Joseph Lynch is now LeadiD’s CTO, according to LinkedIn.
  • The company has doubled from 25 employees to more than 50 in the last year, Figueira said, and is still hiring. That growth followed the Series A.
