Malvern-based CEO Phil Reitnour is pitching to the sharks tonight.
Reitnour, 55, runs a company called EmergenSee, whose mobile app lets users broadcast video, location and other information in case of an emergency. He’ll be on ABC’s “Shark Tank,” vying for investment from a panel of celebrity investors, according to a release.
EmergenSee has 20 full-time employees, located all over the country, said spokeswoman Sandra Frick. Reitnour and head of security Jason Friedberg, who will also appear on Shark Tank, are both based in the Philly area. The company has a San Francisco-based marketing office, she said.
Reitnour is one of at least two Philly entrepreneurs who will soon star on the program: Drexel undergrad and Scholly founder Chris Gray is another.
