Danielle Bassett, a Penn bioengineering professor, won a five-year, $625,000 MacArthur “genius” grant, according to a release. She was one of 21 winners.
Bassett, 32, of Wallingford, Pa., is focused on how the science of networks affects how people learn. This past summer, she hosted an art residency for students interested in building visual representations of networks and working alongside network scientists.
