The husband-and-wife team behind Backward Pies describes the game as a “zen-like puzzle game.” It won second place in a game challenge hosted last year by gaming magazine Edge.

They’ve done contract work and built another game, Dukes and Dirigibles, a steampunk shooter. Jason Seip used to work remotely for a serious games company that worked on government contracts, building games for educational and training purposes.
