Does a female mayor mean more women in tech? [study]

A new study from RJMetrics found that a female mayor is positively correlated with more women in tech.

RJMetrics, the Center City ecommerce analytics firm that’s becoming more and more known for its content-marketing data studies, looked at the 50 biggest U.S. tech cities and found that a female mayor is positively correlated with more women in tech.

Philadelphia is not one of the 17 cities that have higher-than-average numbers of women in tech.
