Here’s a map of where Philadelphians take Uber

Here's your Philly map of the day.

Here’s your Philly map of the day, from on-demand taxi service Uber. It illustrates Philly Uber rides, dating back to when Uber launched here. (We totally asked them for this data a while ago, so we had some fun checking it now, though we’re sure the raw data would result in lots more interesting visualizations.)

The map is part of Uber100, a campaign that refers to the fact that Uber is now in 100 cities.

Also, was there an implication of a New Jersey extension of Uber?

In other Uber news, Philly community manager Meagan Norman has departed to join Razorfish Healthware. Say hi to new community managers Emily Hess and Dave Paley, as well as Genna Smyth, who joined the team in November. And don’t forget about Uber’s bagel party giveaway, in partnership with local food truck SchmearIt.
