Just 7% of ETE tech conference attendees were female: organizers want change

Tracey Welson-Rossman's message to the tech community? Let's get more women at Emerging Technology for the Enterprise.

Women made up seven percent of the 550 attendees at last year’s Emerging Technologies for the Enterprise conference, according to Tracey Welson-Rossman. That’s too low, she said.

Welson-Rossman is the Chief Marketing Officer at Chariot Solutions, the Fort Washington-based company that hosts ETE. She’s also the founder of TechGirlz, a nonprofit that aims to get more girls interested in technology.

Her message to the tech community? Let’s get more women at ETE.
