A Philadelphia developer has a message to all recruiters: Don’t spam us. We will put you on our spam list.

It’s one of the things that tech recruiters get wrong, said mobile developer Ben Shive in a response to a recruiter’s recent guide to finding Philly tech talent.

While some founders, like Philly Startup Leaders president Rick Nucci and Zivtech’s Alex Urevick-Ackelsberg, praised the guide on the PSL listserv as being useful, others, like Indy Hall head Alex Hillman, decried it, saying it was a “spamming guide.”
