The Art Sanctuary’s new podcast kicks off with author Terry McMillan

In future episodes, The Art Sanctuary, an organization that focuses on black art, plans to feature authors Edwidge Danticat, Jesmyn Ward, Solomon Jones and Art Sanctuary founder, Lorene Cary.

The Art Sanctuary launched its podcast “In the Sanctuary,” this month, starting with an interview with author Terry McMillan. McMillan wrote “Waiting to Exhale” and “How Stella Got Her Groove Back,” which were both turned into movies.
