Meet Philly’s map lovers and makers with GeoPhilly, a new meetup group for anyone who’s interested in mapping and technology.

Today is the group’s first event: a happy hour at Strangelove’s at 11th and Walnut Streets at 5:30 p.m. Next month, the group is co-hosting a free, one-day conference on open source geographic development, said co-organizer and Azavea project manager Sarah Cordivano.
