Scholly makes USA Today // Versify raises $3.4m [Startup Roundup]

A DreamIt Health company relocates to Center City from Callowhill, DreamIt Ventures has its NYC Demo Day and more.

WHO’S GETTING FUNDED?

Glen Mills, Pa.-based Versify, a software and services company for the power industry, raised $3.4 million, according to an SEC filing. It raised $400,000 in November.

WHO’S GETTING BUZZ?

Scholly, the scholarship-finding app from Drexel junior and Dorm Room Fund member Christopher Gray, was featured in USA Today last week. The app has more than 10,000 downloads since its launch in May, according to the USA Today story.

WHO’S MAKING MOVES?

DreamIt Health company Speso Health, which connects patients with rare diseases to medical experts, relocated from Callowhill’s Venturef0rth to Center City’s Benjamin’s Desk, according to this tweet. Speaking of Benjamin’s Desk, the coworking spot’s new event space is moving along.

Robert Adelson, managing partner at Osage Ventures, was appointed to the Free Library’s board, according to Philly.com.
