The Philly tech scene did pretty well in this year’s edition of Philadelphia Magazine‘s Best of Philly with Cipher Prime, First Round Capital and 3rd Ward all getting nods. We recap the tech-relevant wins below.

• Best Grown Up Classes: 3rd Ward
• Best Start-Up Instigator: First Round Capital founder Josh Kopelman
• Best Gamer on the Rise: Cipher Prime cofounder(s) Dain Saint (and Will Stallwood)
• Best Science Nerds: Philadelphia Science Festival organizers Gerri Trooskin and Dennis M. Wint
• Best Connector: Drexel president John Fry
