Philly’s rap scene is going viral, thanks to a Twitter hacker, or several.

A number of national Twitter accounts have been hacked since Monday, including @BurgerKing, @Jeep, @BET and @MTV, and all signs point to the hackers being part of the Philly rap faithful because as the accounts have appeared to become compromised, tweets keep mentioning Philly stars.

In one tweet, which has already been deleted from Jeep’s official account, the hacker shouts out Philly rapper Meek Mill and his business manager, as well as two Chester-based music producers: “RT ‏@Jeep Philly stand upppp!!!! @Jahlilbeats @Thebeatbully @meekmill @pmon215 @omelly215 @coonphilly …”

A similar tweet came from Burger King’s Twitter yesterday, as Philly.com first reported. We’ll see if Twitter security finds out who was behind these hacks, if the’re the same person or the same group and if any other accounts take the brunt of this, uh, surging Philly hacker attack.

In another (above) from MTV’s account, the hacker references comedian and Philly native Kevin Hart.
