PHL Partners: open-source platform to share Philly’s stories [VIDEO]

The rebranding campaign is the result of PHLCVB's research effort, where it interviewed more than 200 people about what Philly's brand should be. PHLCVB hopes PHL Partners can promote tourism in the area and give Philly's image a facelift.

The Philadelphia Convention & Visitors Bureau (PHLCVB) wants to spread the good word of Philly.

So it launched PHL Partners, a toolkit to help show people how awesome the city is. It’s an effort to brand Philly as a “modern renaissance city,” highlighting six different narratives that run through the city. One, notably, is that Philly “values innovation and education.”

We’ve seen local tech communities brand themselves: check out Founded In Philly and Made with Love in Baltimore. This is an extension of that idea, in which PHLCVB aims to capture the feeling of our whole city.
