Celebrate online learning with Drexel on Thursday at its National Distance Learning Week (NDLW) awards ceremony.

Drexel founded NDLW in 2007 to highlight strides made in online learning. Karen Cator, the Department of Education’s director of the Office of Educational Technology, will be the keynote speaker.

One notable distance learning startup is ApprenNet, the legal education venture led by Drexel law professor Karl Okamoto. ApprennNet recently launched its first massive open online course on mergers and acquisitions and received hundreds of signups.
