Solve Media, the advertising solutions company best known for its CAPTCHA technology, has released another tool to help brands understand their customers — except this time it’s personal.

The Center City and New York-based company recently released its new Brand Tags tool, a technology that measures brand sentiment, according the press release, by presenting customers with a brand logo and a TYPE-IN box and asking them to free associate words and phrases.

From a release to Technically Philly:

“Traditionally, brand research is expensive when it comes to time and resources. The Brand Tags tool utilizes social listening and crowd sourcing technology to deliver brand advertisers and agencies immediate, gut reactions that consumers have to brands.”

Brand Tags is the third major release in a line of tools that includes CAPTCHA and the Pre-Roll Insurance advertising technology the company released in March, as Technically Philly reported.
