Multinational infrastructure engineering corporation AECOM will take up a new position on the eastern banks of the East River starting Wednesday.

The engineering firm will take 15,000 square feet for 80 workers at Industry City in its landscape and urban design group, according to a spokesman for the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce.

AECOM ranked No. 161 on Fortune’s 2017 Fortune 500 list. According to the site, the Los Angeles–based company has 87,000 employees internationally and annual revenues of more than $17 billion.

The company has been involved in discussions with the city on how to redevelop parts of southwest Brooklyn, including building a Red Hook subway station, work on the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway and major redevelopments in the Red Hook neighborhood.

Industry City continues to add tenants, as it becomes a job hub in the Brooklyn economic machine. According to Industry City, companies based there have added an average of 100 jobs per month since its opening in 2013.
