Azavea Summer of Maps

Callowhill GIS firm Azavea has opened up applications for nonprofits for its second annual Summer of Maps fellowship. If you’re a nonprofit that has a project that could benefit from any kind of geographic data analysis, this is for you. Azavea will pair the chosen nonprofits with student GIS analysts to complete the projects.

Don’t let the words “geographic data analysis” intimidate you — essentially, Azavea will crunch data to help you figure out where you should open a soup kitchen or what neighborhood you should target your fundraising efforts. Read more possible project examples here.

Apply here by Feb. 10, 11 p.m.
