“There’s an effort to be an entrepreneur, but also to help the area around us,” he says.
That’s the mission of his organization DreamUp Baltimore, which works to cultivate entrepreneurship, collaboration and community in Baltimore city.

DreamUp hosted its fall fiesta Tuesday evening at El Rodeo Tex-Mex restaurant in Towson. There BenDebba — who was one of the team members behind the Spoiled app created during Baltimore’s Startup Weekend in September — spoke briefly about some of DreamUp’s future plans, including an effort to build an incubator facility in the Old Town Mall area northeast of City Hall.
