Two for two: Another Philly founder flies high on ‘America’s Big Deal’

On the second episode of “America’s Big Deal,” a new “shoppable” competition series on USA Network, a Philly founder made two deals worth $175,000 for her patented memory foam seat cushion.

She’s the second local entrepreneur to win big on the show, which premiered last week.

The show, which airs Thursdays at 9 p.m., prompts entrepreneurs from across the country to sell their products on-air to viewers at home in real time. Entrepreneurs bring ready-to-ship products with them to the show, and each week the person with the highest dollar amount in sales by the end of the night wins a chance to make a deal with one of the show’s retail giants: QVC, HSN, Lowe’s or Macy’s.

Brittany Cribbs snagged deals with QVC and HSN after receiving offers from all four retail panelists for her travel-ready Cloud 9 Easy Go product. The deal-making spectacle came after the live sale part of the show, when Cribbs sold $25,000 worth of rollable cushions.

On the premiere episode of “America’s Big Deal,” Philly’s Sherrill Mosee made a $100,000 deal with Macy’s for her MinkeeBlue Mariah backpack.

An Alabama native, Cribbs recently worked in Philadelphia for a national real estate company, according to her LinkedIn profile, and launched Cloud 9 in 2018. Watch her pitch:
