If you didn’t get to attend the Delaware STEM Council symposium earlier this year, don’t worry. You have the chance to attend the STEM Educator Awards later this year and tickets are now available.
Register (free)
The awards program aims to recognize educators at the elementary, middle and high school levels that maintain an innovative teaching style in science, technology, engineering and math. As many of us know, some teachers will always end up spending their own money on school supplies for students. Which is why winning educators will be awarded unrestricted cash to use for their classrooms.
“There are so many educators across the state that are deserving of greater recognition and accolades for all their hard work in not only innovative STEM curriculum and inspired teaching but also in helping all Delawareans be better prepared for the future,” said STEM Council Executive Director Daniel Suchenski.
The event will be hosted at the University of Delaware’s Clayton Hall on Nov. 15 starting at noon. It will be free to attend.
