On Wednesday, Uber released a statement about certain legal hangups at Legislative Hall Tuesday when the Uber-Lyft bill hit the Senate floor.
Uber spokesman Craig Ewer, take it away:
We’re disappointed that partisan bickering has delayed permanent ridesharing rules for Delaware. We urge lawmakers to move forward and take into account the best interests of riders and drivers across the state who rely on Uber for flexible earning opportunities and safe, cost-effective transportation options.
It’s not clear at this point how much longer members of the Senate will need to deliberate the bill’s amendments and specifics.
