Dominique Clarke, who just put together Open Data Delaware’s new website, will be teaching an Intro to Web Concepts class Tuesday night for Girl Develop It Wilmington.
Attendees won’t be writing code but will learn about how the World Wide Web works and how to communicate better about tech stuff.
The class, which is for women with little-to-no technical experience, will cover things like the difference between a client and a server, what different programming languages exist, the kinds of tools needed to develop a site and how to hire (or become) a web developer.
Taught from 6-8 p.m. at 1313 Innovation, the class costs $20.
