Hey, ladies: Check out Girl Develop It’s Code and Coffee Study Group tonight

It's a chance to collaborate, practice and socialize in a judgment-free zone.

Forget Netflix and chill — the ladies of Girl Develop It are hosting a Code and Coffee Study Group from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Wednesday at 1313 Innovation. The event is a chance to practice new skills, work on a project or simply meet other women interested in learning more about Delaware’s dev scene.
Wilmington is the 53rd U.S. city to host the nonprofit Girl Develop It, an organization that offers software training courses to women. The Delaware chapter held its inaugural class at the end of October and also gave an intro workshop on Git and GitHub in November.
Don’t worry if you’ve never been to a GDI class, organizers say. If you’re a woman interested in learning more about coding, simply bring yourself, a laptop, a snack if you please and, of course, any ideas you might want to work on or talk about.
