WHO’S MAKING MOVES?

Mark Brainard was recently named president of the Delaware Technical Community College. Brainard, who previously served as the vice president of the school, will succeed Orlando George, who retired on June 30 after 19 years at the helm. Brainard has previously served as the executive vice president of the Delaware Chamber of Commerce and chief of staff for former governor Ruth Ann Minner.
Wilmington-based startup Muni was recently accepted into the DreamIt Philly 2014 class. The startup, which delivers multi-touch, gesture based solutions for businesses that need large-scale visualization and collaboration, will receive funding and participate in an intensive three- to four-month accelerator program. At the end of the program, each startup will meet and pitch their company to investors and venture capitalists.
RegDesk of Bear will be a part of the DreamIt Health’s fall class. RegDesk, a leading marketplace for matching biotech and device companies with freelancing regulatory expertise around the world, is one of nine in the organization’s second class of health IT startups.

WHO’S GETTING BUZZ?
