Adams Morgan-based startup Sorcero is looking to add a customer success manager and lead product designer to its local team. The enterprise natural language processing company makes tools — including its AI-powered KnowledgeBot — to help life sciences and insurance companies’ employees find answers to questions more easily via chatbot.

Candidates for the customer success manager role should have experience in SaaS customer success or account management, business development, or strategy consulting would be a plus. A college degree is not required but is preferred.

Those interested in the lead product designer position should be familiar with HTML, JavaScript and CSS design capabilities; have three to five years of UX design experience; and have knowledge of the process to drive a user experience from start to finish. A college degree or equivalent experience in human computer interaction, digital media design, fine arts or a related field is desired, per the job posting.

(And if you’re looking to move to India anytime soon, note that it’s also hiring for a few roles in Mumbai.)

Sorcero seems to be on the up and up: In the fall, the company secured a spot in three of the West Coast-based Plug and Play Tech Center’s accelerator programs and closed $1.6 million in funding, and in December, it announced its acceptance to the MassChallenge FinTech 2020 cohort.

The person in this role will join the company’s Identity and Access Management team, where they will focus on leading new feature development, design systems, and work with API teams to understand and improve on customer needs. Candidates for this role should have five years of relevant experience and knowledge of how to build scalable web services or distributed cloud-based architecture. Candidates should also be familiar with Mapbox’s tech stack — node.js, React, SQL, NoSQL, Docker, AWS.

Along with this position, Mapbox has more than 15 other D.C. job openings listed on its site.
