Venture capital, like any subject-specific world, has its own jargon. Lots of it. And while you, dear entrepreneur, don’t necessarily need to know how to speak fluently, a little bit certainly goes a long way.

Looking to raise money for your startup but not sure how best to negotiate or what, exactly, a term sheet might entail? This event is for you. On Tuesday, March 28 General Assembly is bringing together a panel of investors to give entrepreneurs an inside look at some VC basics.

Good news: The evening event, which will be held at 1776 in Crystal City, is free. Grab a ticket.
