Saturday: Get thee (and the kids) to DC STEM Fest

The event aims to increase awareness of critical STEM industries, all through a little fun.

Kids from across the District will be celebrating all things science, technology, engineering and math on Saturday with the DC STEM Festival.

Through presentations and activities run by students as well as organizations like the NOAA Center for Atmospheric Sciences, the event aims “to increase awareness of the critical role science and other STEM fields play in our world every day.” Held at Harmony DC Public Charter Schools in Eckington, organizers promise the presentations and activities will be fun for all ages.

The last DC STEM Festival was held in April 2016.
