Nava PBC, the startupĀ that grew out of the 2013 HealthCare.gov rescue mission, wants to get D.C.’s civic tech community together for a drink.
The company aims to organize an every-other-month happy hour in D.C. (and perhaps beyond, down the road). The first such event (though Nava has done less-formal events in the past) is set for Feb. 27.
In DC and interested in civic tech? Hang out at this happy hour next week: https://t.co/Jmm5iD7X06

“It’s a way to foster conversation, collaboration and generate new ideas,” Alisha Ramos, a designer at Nava, told Technical.ly in an email. “Also, to make new friends and meet new people.”
We endorse.
The happy hour will be held at District Distilling on U Street, and so it doubles nicely as a way to check outĀ one of the city’s new distillery/bar combos. The newly opened bar serves drinks made with spirits distilled on site.
