On the Market is a Technical.ly column where we highlight noteworthy job openings and the people who are lookin’. Got a submission? Email us and tell us why it belongs in the roundup.

Knucklepuck, a digital marketing firm based in Arlington, Va., is seeking a senior SEO consultant who not not only has killer search skills but also knows how to appreciate “a hard day’s work, the comforts of a beanbag chair and a quality pun.”

The company, which is hiring for multiple roles, is growing “explosively” according to a spokesperson and this “SEO guru” will get to be a key part of that growth (apply here). Why work at Knucklepuck? “Because we have amazing clients spanning some of the most competitive industries on the web,” according to a spokesperson. And if the firm’s Instagram account is any indication, there’s also office yoga

Moving over to offices in Dupont Circle, but sticking with the marketing theme, D.C.’s “Airbnb of office leasing,” SwingSpace, is also hiring a digital marketer. It’s a broad role of the kind that are only really found in small, early-stage startups — the right person will be charged with “quarterbacking online and offline outreach in both Washington, D.C. and our other markets.”

Ready to play ball? Send a resume and cover letter to SwingSpace’s cofounder and COO Zak Kidd at zak@swingspace.com.

Now all settled in to a new Crystal City HQ, govtech consulting firm ByteCubed is growing its team. And boy do we mean growing. The long list of open gigs include everything from data scientist to product manager to chief technology officer.

TransitScreen is the kind of D.C. startup success story that grew out of a Mobility Lab project to its current iteration as a company with offices in D.C., New York, Portland, Toronto and London.

Now the company, which helps people get from Point A to Point B more easily with all-in-one-place transit information (on a screen!), is hiring. Passionate about transit and great with managing interpersonal relationships? Be their customer success associate.

It’s an exciting time to be tracking what’s happening in the political world, and that means it’s an exciting time to be working at Quorum Analytics. In fact, the advent of a new federal administration (and arguably especially this one) “puts a huge focus on the importance of our work,” Quorum cofounder Alex Wirth told Technical.ly in a recent conversation.

Want to be a part of it all? The startup is hiring developers and salespeople — find more information here.
