Ever tried, and failed, to learn to play the guitar? You’re not alone.

But a new product from WeWork Crystal City-based Edge Tech Labs (the same people who created DrinkMate, that tiny breathalyzer) is trying to make this status quo of failed resolutions a thing of the past.

It’s called Fret Zepplin (I know, I know) and it’s quite popular on Kickstarter.

Within the first 24 hours of its third campaign on the crowdfunding site, Fret Zepplin had raised $15,000. By 36 hours in, the total was above $22,000 (as of writing, it has raised over $41,000).

So what’s Fret Zepplin? Essentially, its an addition to your guitar that adheres next to the frets and under the strings and, using colored LED lights, shows beginners the correct finger placements for any given chord. Via an iOS or Android companion app, users can control which songs, or chord progressions, they want to learn.

“It was ultimately our desire to push the gas pedal on learning guitar that inspired our creation of Fret Zeppelin,” Shaun Masavage, CEO of Edge Tech Labs, said in a statement. “”We know so many people within our community that have a desire to learn how to play, but don’t due to time constraints, cost of lessons, and the struggle to learn proper technique. Fret Zeppelin replaces frustration with a fun, digital training tool that sits right on the neck of a guitar.”

And once you master the instrument? Well, then you can use the LEDs for cool light displays while you rock.

Check out Fret Zepplin on Kickstarter here — if the campaign is successful, the company estimates that backers should receive the product in October 2017.
