Check out the ‘hottest’ tech companies at the 2016 Hot Ticket Awards

The winners will be recognized at a poolside party June 23 at the home of Northern Virginia Technology Council CEO Bobbie Kilberg.

The Northern Virginia Technology Council has been holding its Hot Ticket Awards for more than 10 years now, in an annual effort to recognize some of the “hottest technology companies in the greater Washington region,” according to the event page.
The party and awards ceremony will be held at NVTC President and CEO Bobbie Kilberg’s residence in McLean, Va. If you want to be a part of this year’s festivities at the “private location” on June 23, you can register for the pay-to-enter event.
For the third year now, NVTC collaborated with the Washington Post’s Capital Business blog to get the community involved, via voting. Based on poll results — consumer and enterprise (week 1), big data and analytics (week 2), cybersecurity and safety (week 3) and health and wearables (week 4) — companies like LifeFuels and Infosys Public Services turned out to be the most popular (and will each be getting “a leg up in a competitive review process chaired by a panel of judges selected by NVTC,” according to the Post).
While the winner won’t be getting a writeup in the paper, it’s cool to see the publication highlighting some local tech companies.
And how often do you get to celebrate tech awards with a poolside party? Just remember that attire for the event is “SUMMER CASUAL.”
