Don’t have plans for Saturday night? How about wine and pizza and chill?
Alcohol delivery app Klink recently unveiled a new offering for D.C. users. Starting this Saturday, Jan. 28, Klink customers can get DiGiorno and/or California Pizza Kitchen pizzas delivered (“oven-ready”) along with their booze order. The agreement with food conglomerate Nestlé that’s making this mash-up a reality is being described as a “limited-time” partnership.
Klink is pretty confident their offer will be well-received. “Whether entertaining for Game Day, having a movie night, or experimenting with the best wine and pizza pairings, customers are going to love this,” Klink CMO Tim Hedberg said in a statement.
But hold on before you get too comfortable in those sweats.
The statement goes on to offer a few friendly warnings: “Remember to drink responsibly, choose appropriate portions and pair your favorite pizza with a salad or additional creative vegetable toppings.”
Yes, always wine and pizza and chill responsibly.
