Dear hackers, advocates, data scientists, communicators, and more — Open Data Day DC is coming back for a fifth year.
The annual hackathon will be held on March 4-5, and organizers are hoping to host more than 300 open data enthusiasts. And given the turnout last year, when the event had to battle snowy conditions, these numbers don’t seem far-fetched.
Open Data Day DC is organized by Joshua Tauberer, Eric Mill, Sam Lee, Katherine Townsend and Julia Bezgacheva, and sponsored by the Data Foundation. While the team is still working to nail down some specifics of the event (like a location), you can register for the free event now.
