Guess which DC bar saw the most Lyft drop-offs in 2015

Lyft just announced the winners of the first Lyftie Awards, “celebrating local hot spots with the most Lyft passenger drop-offs from 2015.”

Lyft riders like to visit this guy, apparently.

Lyft seems to really like holiday giving.

You might remember the ridesharing company’s Lyft Gift Roulette promotion earlier this month. Well, before 2015 draws to a close Lyft has decided to give once more — this time in the form of a few pieces of data.

On Tuesday Lyft announced the winners of the first Lyftie Awards — “celebrating local hot spots with the most Lyft passenger drop-offs from 2015 in DC, and across the country.” And what are the most popular drop-off locations for Lyft passengers in D.C. in 2015, you ask?

Here’s the list:

  • Most visited restaurant: El Centro D.F.
  • Most visited bar: The Brixton
  • Most visited event location: The Verizon Center
  • Most visited transit stop: Union Station

The Lincoln Memorial won an “only in D.C.” award for the most visited monument. Lyft also notes that the data reveals the popularity of their service among college students — three of the five most visited locations in D.C. in 2015 were college campuses.

In addition to D.C.-specific data, the Lyfties site shares national hot spots and local data about the company’s other cities of operation. Take a look here.
