A 15-foot tall cardboard velociraptor will make an appearance at the DC Pride Parade this Saturday. The dinosaur will even ride on a float.
DCDino, a mascot designed by a group of anonymous civic technologists to embody diversity in the District, is looking for fellow revelers.
So if you’re into dressing unconventionally, you might want to consider scaling it up: dinosaurs, dinosaur hunters, cave people, Yoshi, Godzilla and Jurassic Park characters have all been summoned to join.
The Queerassic Park troop will convene at Q and 22nd Streets between 4 and 4:30 p.m, according to a statement released on the tech-savvy dinosaur’s Facebook page.
