IT software management firm SolarWinds opened up a Herndon office last month. The team here will focus solely on the federal government and its contractors.
SolarWinds decided to expand here after growing its federal team by nearly 50 percent in 2014. “We wanted to establish roots in this area and really show our commitment to the federal technology community,” said federal group VPĀ David Kimball in an email.
He added:

The biggest advantage we see to establishing an office in Herndon is the proximity to the heart of the federal industry. Having a SolarWinds team here that is focused on the federal government will allow us to build closer relationships with customers, partners, agencies and the government technology community as a whole.
