You may be aware of the importance of a diverse workforce — but how can your company make this into a reality? It starts from step one by recruiting with a DEI lens.

We may not realize it, but biases can occur early on in the hiring process. The future of work starts right now in the present when we make decisions about potential team members. Recruiting with a DEI lens requires a deep analysis of your company’s vision, values and goals.

What’s the best way to make sure you’re doing all that you can to find the right candidates for your team? Technical.ly has partnered with heristic cofounders Mercedes Ballard and Kristin Bonds who will lead a workshop for organizations to analyze their recruiting practices.

Lunch and learn with us virtually on Wednesday, July 20, at 12:30 p.m. EST for our workshop, “Recruiting with a DEI Lens.” This hour-long workshop will teach you how to ensure that your recruiting systems are fair and effective. We’ll review where to go to get diverse talent and how to talk and approach those prospects.

Can’t attend but still want to be a part of this? All registrants will get an accompanying worksheet filled with useful information, and a recording of the workshop afterward.

The Most Diverse Tech Hub Initiative is a program created in partnership with the City Philadelphia’s Department of Commerce. Look out for announcements about future events.
