Tech, ad, media firms leaving Manhattan for Brooklyn

Better-priced and better-spaced commercial real estate has led technology, advertising and design companies to migrate across the East River, according to a new story in Manhattan’s Wall Street Journal.

The piece, by Keiko Morris, also notes that more and more workers in creative and tech fields live in Brooklyn already.

“In addition to proximity to a Brooklyn labor force, companies such as 2U said they are looking for neighborhoods with more of a community vibe than can be found in Manhattan,” Morris writes.
