If you’re interested in 3D printing or meeting people who are, here’s a good one for you. Promising 3D-printing startup Voodoo Manufacturing is hosting a party, Filament Jam, Wednesday night at its East Williamsburg office and manufacturing space.
The event is free and open to the public. It will include a 3D-printing selfie station, where you can get a 3D print-out of your head and chest, a performance by a Brooklyn-based brass band and free drinks.
We went to last year’s Filament Jam and can vouch that it is good. We were even able to take a minute out on the building’s fire escape to hear from Voodoo Manufacturing cofounder Max Friefeld about what he thinks of the future of 3D printing. (A lot.)
