A new product design company is starting up in Brooklyn, led by startup vets Elan Miller and Courtney Zalewski. Called Midnight, the firm looks to partner with startups looking to get products to market quickly and efficiently.
“We typically partner with clients for 3 months as full-time designers-in-residence to accelerate growth for early-stage teams looking for product-market fit and more established companies craving fresh ideas,” Miller wrote Tuesday in a Medium post announcing the company’s inception.
Last time we caught up with Miller he was releasing an app, FaceOff, that allowed users to A/B test their profile (or Tinder) pictures.

As far as Midnight goes, Miller emphasized that the shop has been through the wringer and will know first-hand its clients’ challenges.
“The world is evolving at an alarming pace, and you only get so many tries before your window closes,” Miller wrote. “Every swing counts, so we’ve designed an agile workflow to help our partners iterate with speed in mind.”
