Wednesday night you can go inside the world of virtual reality, hearing from aspirants and experts on what people want to make.
It’s called the Virtual Reality Pitchfest at Dumbo’s Made in NY Media Center.
Five teams of fiction and nonfiction VR projects will have five minutes to pitch their ideas to a panel of investors. The investors and the audience will then have five minutes to ask questions of the pitchers. Following the event will be a networking reception for the judges, panelists and audience.
The judges are:

  • Charles Melcher of yearly summit The Future of Storytelling.
  • Elliott Whitton of Cinereach, a foundation that supports and funds cool film projects.
  • Alejandro Dinsmore of Eevo, a platform to make VR more accessible for filmmakers.
