Tonight we crown the popular champions of the Brooklyn tech scene.

The votes have been tallied, the awards laser-cut, and it’s time to see who takes home the prizes.


More than 250 people have RSVP’d for the event and although it’s too late to RSVP if you haven’t already, if shoot this reporter an email, I’ll ~see what I can do~ about getting you on the list.

Best Locally Built Indie Video Game of the Year | For the best designed and developed game launched in 2015

Technologist of the Year | For the most high-profile technical work by an individual in Brooklyn

Artist/Creative Group of the Year | For the most unique and inspiring use of software or other digital or technical tools

Makerspace of the Year | For the most creative and collaborative place of hardware and fabrication work

Coworking Space of the Year | For the most active and welcoming tech community around a physical hub

Incubator of the Year | For the most effective place to start and grow a business

Tech Mission Org of the Year | For the group that has had the biggest impact on inclusivity, education or access in STEM

Creative Agency of the Year | For the most consistently high-quality design, web and creative work on the largest scale

Tech Community Leader of the Year | For representing Brooklyn’s tech community on a wider stage

Tech Startup of the Year | For the early-stage company that has the best chance at delivering on its business objectives

Tech Business of the Year | For the more established business that has had the biggest impact on its community

Science Firm of the Year | For the early-stage company that is doing the most interest working in the sciences
