Check out the HCx3DP Meetup to learn how 3D printing is disrupting healthcare

Here are three reasons meetup organizer Land Grant says not to miss the group's two upcoming events, taking place April 16 at Huge and April 17 at the Maimonides Medical Center.

This is a guest post by Land Grant, founder of 3DP Media.

The 3D printing industry (3DP) is the most commercially disruptive vector in all of manufacturing, and the fastest growing sector in 3D printing is healthcare products and services (HC).
We’ve dubbed this new intersection between 3D printing and healthcare products, “HCx3DP.” Now, via the HCx3DP Meetup NY group, we are presenting two back-to-back, cutting-edge tech events on the topic in Brooklyn.
The first is on Thursday, April 16, at Huge in Dumbo and the second takes place Friday, April 17, at Maimonides Medical Center, in Borough Park. Admission for both events is $20 per person, per meetup.
RSVP to both meetups
Here are three key reasons why you should personally join-in on our Thursday and/or Friday HCx3DP Meetup NY events:

1. It’s early on, but this is the time to grasp HCx3DP-driven opportunities.

Our HCx3DP-driven, industrial intersection has begun to present innovative opportunities across the entire medical science spectrum. We showcase these opportunities at our HCx3DP Meetup NY events, regularly demoing 3D printers, and the objects the printers produce, to orient our audiences about the new technologies that so many have yet to enjoy first-hand.
Our experts very often excite and confound acute observers with their promising treatments for both individual HCx3DP-patients and the many maladies of the U.S. healthcare industry. This is our vehicle for introducing and interpreting HCx3DP to and for our community and the wider polity beyond Brooklyn and NYC. Be there and get a jump on everyone else.

2. Learn about the vast disruptions in the development of healthcare products and services, and how companies are adapting.

Tech disruptions create commercial disaster, but they also present opportunities for the entrepreneur. That’s regardless of your current job title or workstation geometry. Attend our meetup and find out how one super-diverse sector of tech-besieged medical science is succeeding with HCx3DP-engined medical devices, despite cost slashing, hyper-fast delivery, EPA dithering, IoT hacking threats, Neo-Medtechers horning-in, etc., etc.
Here are the experts we’ve impaneled to help show you the way Thursday evening, April 16, at Huge, 6:30-8:30 p.m.:

3. Help formulate effective public policy in the age of HCx3DP disruption.

If HCx3DP tech is going to disrupt the entire healthcare industry (and it will!), then we regular citizens must assure that our collective interests are addressed and armored for the conflict to come.
Again, disruption delivers opportunity. So, our round table Friday afternoon will exhort on ensuring Brooklyn’s common good in an era of HCx3DP commerce, all while fostering a world-dominating industrial segment, starting at the grassroots in NYC.
Here are the experts we’ve impaneled to help inform you on Friday afternoon, April 17, at Maimonides Medical Center, Saltzman Auditorium, 3-5 p.m.:
