Indie rock mega-group The Arcade Fire can no longer avoid doing stadium shows, so they brought in a lot of smart people to help them figure out how to make a giant show feel as intimate as possible. Two Brooklyn companies, Senior Post and New Flint, Inc., both based in Dumbo, directed, shot and edited a video on the process. We liked the use of split screens as a way of showing different aspects and also letting the viewer see more in less time.
The six minute video is all about the technical challenges of making a huge show feel small. You also learn that the band prototyped the show in a Brooklyn warehouse.
