Etsy‘s message that they have one-of-a-kind gifts appears to be working.
CEO Chad Dickerson posted a report with some interesting facts about the Dumbo company’s start to the holiday season. Here are his words:
- Between Thanksgiving and Cyber Monday, more than 36 million visits to Etsy generated more than 388 million page views.
- This was the year of mobile for the holidays — more than 50% of visits were from shoppers on mobile devices
- Over the long weekend, nearly a third of buyers made their first purchases on Etsy
- More than 1 in 4 orders occurred between buyers and sellers in different countries, sending holiday cheer across borders.
